As a member of the Strategy and Implementation team in Ho Chi Minh City since 2002, Antonio brings to Tractus a tremendous amount of experience working on and leading projects in Vietnam, where he heads up the Tractus office, and across the region. During his time with Tractus, Antonio has been directly involved in conducting strategy and feasibility studies of multinational manufacturing investments in Asia including site selection and market research projects. He has worked in a variety of sectors, including garments, electronics, automotive, consumer goods, minerals and manufacturing, among others. Recent engagements have included industrial assets acquisitions and dispositions, Asia-wide industrial site selection for automotive parts manufacturers, market entry strategy for industrial production equipment manufacturers, and industry and market evaluation studies for European and American manufacturers and commodity processing companies.
Prior to joining Tractus, Antonio managed the Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong and worked for Invest Hong Kong, the Hong Kong government’s investment promotion agency. In these positions, Antonio provided advice and assistance to foreign investors looking to enter the Hong Kong market and structure their local businesses. He has also worked as a trade officer in the Spanish Economic and Trade Office in Vietnam, where he was responsible for identifying business opportunities across the country and analyzing key industry sectors. Antonio is an active member of the American Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam.
